The Application Process

While not wanting to have a complicated process, MLF must be able to plan, keep track of and report on its activities, so we require an application and approval process which we hope you find simple. These are the steps we would like applicants to take using electronic means:

>Please acquire an Tree Application Form here or from this website’s Home or About Us pages or directly, by contacting John Cary at: jcary@sympatico.ca and complete it.S

>Submit it electronically to jcary@sympatico.cafor approval. The application may have to be clarified or changed.

>Upon approval, the application will be forwarded back to you (the applicant) and to the nursery that will be the local supplier of the trees that are being approved. The cover note on the e-mail will ask the applicant to contact the nursery to make the necessary arrangements for payment and pick-up.

>The nursery, upon verification to MLF that it has supplied the trees, will be reimbursed for the balance of the discounted selling price by MLF.

This simple process allows us to allocate and optimize the existing MLF nursery stock of seedlings or saplings or larger trees by nursery, species and by type of product, be it bareroot or container. In exceptional circumstances, we will accept faxed applications. Please call 416 255 0385 to prompt us about your fax.
